Disable approval workflow for a publishing site

I’m about to create a new site using the Publishing Portal Site Template, and wanted to disable approval process.  I feel that I don’t need approval for this site.

Steps to disable the approval process:

1. Go to the Pages library settings and click on versioning settings and click “no”.

2. The click workflow settings and remove the approval workflow.
